(2016) Interactive Internet-of-Things audiowork.
A sound installation of 25 or more small, internet-of-things sound-devices, which are all individually connected through the internet to a heart-monitor-device of a specific person anywhere in the world. The measured heart-rate is realtime converted into sound: no matter where that person is, you can hear the heart beat.
You will hear all individual hearts beat, at the right present tempo, at the same time. You can monitor people or groups of people wearing a heart-rate monitor. When you stand in front of the installation you can hear the hearts beat of a family of four, some of your friends, or an entire office staff.
